Our county GRAN ARBASTRUM is the result of the selection of the best plots of our vineyards. It is a wine made with grapes from the Condado do Tea sub-region harvested in its optimum state of ripeness and health.

Elaboración:

Our county GRAN ARBASTRUM is the result of the selection of the best plots of our vineyards. The selected grapes are destemmed and crushed before going through a maceration process of approximately 6 hours at 10º C. After that time, only the must flower is used to produce this wine. This must will be racked for 24 hours in stainless steel tanks at low temperatures and then fermented.
It is fermented and vinified for 4 months in French oak barrels. At the end of this fermentation, the wine is racked in a matter of 15 days to remove it from the lees that can confer unpleasant and negative smells and tastes for the future wine.  The wine is then cold stabilised (-5ºC) for one week before being filtered (tangential and amicrobial filtration) for subsequent bottling. 

Notas de cata:

Visual phase: Golden and greenish straw yellow, with amber reflections. Clean and shiny.
Olfactory Phase: High aromatic intensity, vanilla, balsamic and smoky, reminiscent of barrel ageing. The fruit and floral notes of the varieties stand out.
Tasting phase: Powerful, tasty, creamy and with a very good balance between fruity and barrel sensations. Notes of fruit, rosemary and smoked. Well integrated acidity and long finish persistence.
